I never realized how useful your own personal folding shopping cart could be, now it’s one of those things I’m gonna be using all the time on my “me” days when I’m out shopping.
One thing I really like about having my own personal shopping cart is that I don’t have to wonder who used the store cart before me. You never know if someone sneezed into their hands, coughed, or came out of the bathroom without washing their hands before grabbing the cart. With my own cart, I know it’s clean every time I use it.
It’s also perfect for stores that don’t provide bags or charge for them. Instead of buying bags or trying to remember to bring reusable ones, I can just put everything directly into my shopping cart and load the full baskets right into my trunk or back seat. It’s simple and saves a lot of hassle.

Two Collapsible Baskets
This cart comes with two collapsible baskets. You can use just one basket if that’s all you need, or use both.
The bottom shelf has a support bar that blends in with the frame… you really have to look to see it. If you’re using the top basket at all, but especially if you’re putting heavier items in the top basket, make sure you’re using the support bar or sticks. You’re gonna lift the support bar into place under the top shelf and it will keep the top shelf sturdy and prevent it from sagging.
Weight Capacity
- Entire cart: up to 200 lbs
- Bottom basket: up to 110 lbs
- Top basket (with support bars in place): up to 90 lbs
Just make sure the support bars are locked in place underneath the top rack before loading heavier items.
Smooth, Heavy-Duty Wheels
One thing that surprised me was the wheels. They’re not cheap plastic… they’re actually heavy-duty and roll really smoothly.
The front wheels swivel 360 degrees, making it easy to turn and maneuver around stores, sidewalks, or parking lots.
It also has a brake, so if you need the cart to stay in one place, you can lock it place instead of worrying about it rolling away.
Better Than Store Shopping Carts
We’ve all grabbed shopping carts at the store that barely work. Sometimes you end up trying three or four carts before finding one that’s decent.
One cart squeaks, another one wobbles, the next one barely rolls because the wheels are packed with hair and dust bunnies.
With your own shopping cart, you know it’s clean, the wheels roll smoothly, and it works the way it’s supposed to every time.
More Than Just Grocery Shopping
This cart isn’t just for grocery shopping!
You can use it for:
- Laundry, especially if you live in an apartment or high-rise with an elevator.
- Cleaning supplies if you own a cleaning business – it can be your cleaning caddy. You can take the bottom basket out and lay your broom/vacuum/flat mop or regular mop at the bottom.
- Picnics
- Shopping at the mall
- Everyday errands
- Carrying supplies to events or markets
- Farmers markets
- If you have a business where you ship products. You can bring the baskets inside your house, throw all your mailers/packages in the basket once you put the mailing label on there, pop the baskets in your car and roll them into the post office.
And if you live somewhere like New York or another city where people walk a lot, this cart can save your shoulders and hands from carrying a bunch of heavy shopping bags. Instead, you can simply push everything with you. (If you’ve been rolling it through dirty streets, I’d recommend wiping the wheels before bringing it inside your actual apartment)
Folds for Storage
When you’re finished using it, the cart folds down for storage.
It’s not tiny when folded, but it takes up much less space than when it’s fully assembled, making it easier to store in a closet, garage, or the trunk of your car.
