All good styles have to come to an end, so I’ll be showing you how to remove crochet braids, in this post tutorial/video specifically, crochet spring twists.
Step by step picture directions on how to remove your twists are below the video.
Check out my video here.
Let’s get started, shall we…
• First you need to decide if you want to reuse your crochet hair. If the hair is UN-reusable, you’re going to cut the crochet hair about 1 inch away from the base of the twists (the loop)… right where the tip of my nail is.
If you DO plan to reuse your twists, keep following along. I’ll be showing you how to remove crochet twists individually.
• The crochet loop has 2 sides…this is the underside where the twist is coming through the loop.
• If you flip the twists over, you’ll see the top of the loop.
• Lift the loop.
Once you lift the loop, a space opens up for you to pull the length of the twists back through the loop.
Continue to pull the twist through the loop until the end of the twist is through.
Once the twist is through the loop, just tug on it and it should slide right from under your cornrow.
Repeat until all twists are removed.
I hope this post and accompanying video helped you figure out how to remove crochet braids individually. If you have any questions, leave them in the comments with a good email, and I’ll get back to you.
