This natural hair flat twist updo is pretty simple, as long as you know how to flat twist…if not, you could always braid it. 100% of the time I do my styles on freshly washed hair, but to each their own. This isn’t a style you would want to keep in for more than a couple days, as it will get super frizzy and won’t look nearly as good as it did the first day. This natural hair style would also be great on a little girl. It’s not too grown, but I would probably twist up the whole front half instead of slicking the side back. Little girls are super busy and their hair will frizz up very quickly, causing you to have to redo or keep brushing that section back.

The Process to Achieve this Natural Hair Style
I usually start all my styles on freshly washed hair, so that is how this style started. Be sure to wash, condition and moisturize your hair.
-Follow along with steps in between pictures-
•Start by making a side part, extend to the middle of your head and continue to part in horizontal to your ear.
• Make 3 parts at a curve for 3 flat twists.
• Slick the opposite side down and put all hair into a ponytail.
• For all the hair in the ponytail, do a bunch of medium sized 2 strand twists.
• Once you have twisted the ponytail, spread the twists out like you are making a sock bun. Wrap the twists around each other and secure with a ponytail holder and bobby pins.
• All done…
Thank you so much for reading, and until next time…
