I just had my second child, and this labor and delivery process was wayyyyyyy faster than with my first son. The contractions came quick from the start; the whole process lasting less than 7 hours + the time it took to get sewn up down there.
I had a natural birth with both; no epidural, pain meds, meds to speed up the process and this time around, my water broke on its own. I told them from the beginning that I didn’t want meds or an epidural and my nurse didn’t ask me one time; she was a great and super nice. With my first child they KEPT asking me – Derrick even told them to bring the epidural cuz he didn’t like seeing me in so much pain, they tried to give me medicine to speed up the process…without telling me first, and my dr broke my water. My first birth experience was not so great… maybe I’ll get into that old footage and edit that to be a vlog as well, hmmmmm.
