I thought recreating one of my childhood hairstyles would be really fun while also giving moms and dads inspiration for an age appropriate style for their little girl(s). It makes me so happy when I see little girls with pigtails or other age appropriate hairstyles that aren’t “too grown.”

Tips: If you are using regular rubber bands or those shiny elastic bands, it doesn’t need to wrapped around the hair too many times. The elastic bands break a lot easier and neither option is for multiple uses. Use scissors to CAREFULLY cut the rubber bands out of your childs hair while avoiding cutting their hair.
