• If you grab the free strand with your right hand, everything you do will go towards the left — If you grab the free strand with your left hand, everything you do will go towards the right.
• Keep one hand resting on the scalp
• When you pick up hair, add small sections so the weave is tight. If you grab sections that are too big, the braid will be loose and look stretched out.
