My big sister is bomb with the ideas, and that’s how this video came about. While my hair was straightened, I wanted to do this style and I was gonna be washing my hair soon, which would bring my hair back to its natural state, so why not do a new type of video showcasing 1 style with 2 textures. This style, with both textures is great for work, weddings, or just an everyday style. This would even be okay for a little girl. I like the side with my natural hair texture better.

The Process to Achieving this Natural Hair Style
You can achieve this style from an old style hairstyle or on freshly washed hair.
-Follow along with steps in between pictures-
• Decide if you want a side or middle part, then part your hair in 5 sections. The front section should only be big enough for a “bang” piece.
• Braid / plait each section (4) EXCEPT the bang piece.
• Pin braids up with bobby pins. Starting with the two braids closest to the nape of your neck, pull each twist to the opposite side by overlapping them. Do the same with the remaining two twists. If you have long hair, you will have to fold the ends under.
• Decide if you want to braid or twist the bang piece. I opted for the twist, but with either option, do it loosely. If you braid or twist too tight, just loosen it up by pulling it apart.
• Pin bang back and be sure to tuck the ends.
